The Village of Westville is proud to offer the Business District Building Improvement Grant Program to encourage investment in our local business community. Whether you're renovating a storefront, updating your building, improving accessibility, or enhancing your property's appearance, this program can help offset the cost of your project. The program was created to support business growth while preserving and revitalizing Westville's Business District.

Grant Highlights 

✔ Receive up to 40% reimbursement on eligible project costs.

✔ Grant awards up to $10,000 for qualifying applicants.

✔ Minimum project investment of $1,000.

✔ Eligible applicants may apply again one year after receiving their previous grant reimbursement, allowing businesses to continue investing in their property over time.

Before You Apply

To be eligible:

• Your property must be located within the Business Development District.
• Projects must be approved before work begins.
• Two contractor estimates are required.
• Grants are paid as reimbursements after project completion and verification of eligible expenses.
• Applications are subject to Village Board approval.
